Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 electric guitar strings are the 10-46 nickel wound set in the Slinky range, and an obvious spare to carry for any electric guitar set up for 10s. The gauges run .010, .013, .017, .026, .036 and .046, a step lighter than Power Slinky 11-48.

For the wound strings Ernie Ball wraps nickel-plated steel around a tin-plated, hex-shaped steel core, and the plain strings are specially tempered, tin-plated high-carbon steel. Every set is sealed in Element Shield packaging, an impermeable film inside an airtight foil pack.
