Why a fine point
The Sharpie Fine gives a bold but detailed line, small enough for cable labels and tape and still easy to read on a case lid in the back of a truck. Sharpie's permanent ink dries quickly and marks paper, plastic, metal and most other surfaces.
Labelling that lasts
- Write on white gaffer or flight case labels rather than straight onto cases, so labels can be changed between tours.
- Keep one marker in the workbox and one in your pocket.
- For dark tape, metal or cases, use a paint marker such as the Edding 751 gold and silver pack.
