Van Damme XLR cables made from Van Damme Tour Grade Classic XKE microphone cable with Neutrik XLRs: a female NC3FXX at one end and a male NC3MXX at the other, terminated with 2% silver solder (lead-free, RoHS compliant). They come in 3m, 5m and 10m lengths for microphones, DI boxes and balanced line connections on stage, in rehearsal and in the studio.

Van Damme describes XKE as flexible, durable and quiet in use, with good handling characteristics. It's used in touring rigs, recording and film studios, music shops and colleges. The 6.35mm jacket is a flexible PVC/neoprene composite over a close-lap spiral oxygen-free copper screen, and the two cores are colour coded red and blue.

As a rough guide, 3m suits mics near a stage box or sub-snake, 5m covers most runs across a stage, and 10m reaches from the back of the stage or out to a mic across the room.
