D'Addario EJ16 phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings are the light gauge 12-53 set from D'Addario's original phosphor bronze range, and a straightforward replacement or spare set for six-string acoustics on stage, in rehearsal or in the studio. D'Addario first used phosphor bronze on acoustic strings in 1974, and the EJ16 gives the warm, balanced tone the range is known for, across all acoustic styles and genres.

Each wound string is phosphor bronze wrap wire precision wound over a hexagonal high-carbon steel core, and the set is uncoated and round wound. The strings are sealed in a corrosion barrier sleeve, and each set carries a code on its recyclable VCI bag for D'Addario Players Circle registration.
