The D'Addario DGS15 Acoustic Quick Release System turns the strap you already use into a quick-release strap on an acoustic guitar. Instead of a second strap button at the neck end, a black cord loops round the headstock and clips to your strap, so there is no drilling and no permanent change to the guitar or the strap.

To fit it, loop one end of the cord under the strings and around the headstock, and pass the other end through the strap end. To take the guitar off, squeeze the clip to release it; there are no knots to tie or undo. The extra length of cord keeps the strap clear of your hand near the headstock. D'Addario says the system is secure during play and suits guitar and bass guitar, live or in the studio.
