The Pro-Elec UK to US travel adaptor converts a UK 3-pin socket into a US 2-pin plug, so UK-plugged chargers and equipment can be used from US-style sockets on a US tour or job. It is rated 250V, 10A.

It changes the plug shape only. It does not change the voltage between 240V (UK) and 110V (US), so check the input rating on your equipment's power supply label before plugging in. The adaptor is marked "Not for use in UK" and "Temporary use only", and is for use outside the UK. The US plug has two flat pins and no earth pin.
