The Dirty Rigger Comfort Fit™ rigger glove, full fingered, is a lightweight and breathable PPE work glove for stage crew, riggers, backline and lighting techs who spend the day handling cases, cable and kit. Comfort is the point of this design: a snug fit to minimise snagging, breathable 4-way stretch fabric on the back of the hand, and double-layered synthetic leather where the palm takes the wear.

All fingers and the thumb are fully covered. The cuff has a write-on ID tag, so a pair can be named before it goes into a shared work box or fly pack, and a double-stitched eyelet for clipping the gloves to a lanyard (lanyard not included). Comfort Fit is part of Dirty Rigger's Skin-Free range, so no animal hide is used.

Protection

  • Standard: EN388:2016, rated 2021X (abrasion 2, blade cut 0, tear 2, puncture 1, TDM cut X)
  • Designation: Dirty Rigger states the gloves are designed to protect the palm against minor abrasions and injuries that may come from handling rigging equipment
  • Limitations: not for cut hazards or sharp edges, and no protection against thermal or chemical hazards; do not use near machinery or moving parts (entanglement hazard)
