sE Electronics V7 Dynamic Microphone Black

Inside is sE's DMC7 dynamic capsule with a neodymium magnet and an aluminium voice coil. sE designed the supercardioid capsule to help isolate the voice from other instruments on stage. Its patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration to keep handling noise low, so the singer can move around without thumps coming through the PA.

The housing is all-metal zinc alloy. The bevelled edge around the spring-steel grille stops the mic rolling when it is put down on an amp or the stage floor, and sE describes the grille as dent-proof and corrosion-free. The internal windscreen is switchable and reduces wind noise and plosives, with a spare in the box. It suits a main vocal mic or a spare in the fly pack.
