The Neutrik NA3MM is a male-to-male 3-pole XLR gender changer that joins two female XLR connectors. Use it when two female cable ends need to meet, or to connect a female-ended lead to a female XLR socket.

The pre-wired body is rugged zinc diecast, based on Neutrik's XX Series, and the latches on the mating female connectors lock onto each end. It is small enough to keep a spare in every cable trunk, fly pack or stage-box drawer.
