The Rocktron DC OnTap is a universal 9V pedal power supply kit: one switching adaptor delivering 9V DC at 1670mA total, plus a set of daisy-chain and adaptor cables that let it power up to 20 stomp boxes at once while taking only one space on the power strip.

It is a simple way to get a pedalboard off batteries, or a spare to keep in the backline case for when a pedal's own adaptor goes missing. Besides standard 2.1mm pedals, the cables cover the awkward ones: older reverse-polarity pedals, pedals with 2.5mm jacks and pedals that only take a battery clip. Every pedal shares the 1670mA total, so add up your pedals' current draw before connecting them. It supplies 9V DC only; pedals that need 12V, 18V or AC need their own supply.
