This skin tape is a 50mm x 5m roll of light skin-tone body tape for fixing headset and lavalier mic cables and leads to performers, out of sight of the audience or camera, and for holding costume and outfit adjustments in place for a show. Skin tape, also known as body tape or flesh tape, is worth keeping in the sound and wardrobe kit for live, theatre and broadcast work.

At 50mm wide, a single strip covers a length of mic cable, and it cuts down with scissors into narrower strips or short tabs for smaller jobs. The backing liner is printed with a grid, which makes it easier to measure and cut straight, even pieces before the show. The colour is a light skin tone, so check it suits the performer before relying on it on camera.
