Sellotape Zero Plastic is a 24mm x 30m roll of clear stationery tape with no plastic in the tape or its packaging. The film is cellulose and the adhesive is natural rubber based, both made from plant-based renewable resources, and Henkel rates its instant adhesion to paper and card as excellent: right for envelopes, paperwork, set lists, signs and wrapping in the production office.

Sellotape describes it as extra sticky and easy tear, and the roll is anti-tangle. The tape looks light golden on the roll and turns clear once applied. It is made for stationery jobs rather than packing: Henkel does not recommend it for heavy cartons or for dusty, damp or fibrous surfaces, so use a packaging tape for boxing up kit.

Disposal

The tape meets EN 13432 for industrial composting and is not suitable for home composting. The pack directs the used tape to a garden or food waste bin and the box to recycling, and the cardboard core and packaging are 100% recycled and 100% recyclable.
