Van Damme Tourcat Cat 5E ethercon cable: screened F/UTP flexible Cat 5E terminated with Neutrik etherCON connectors and screened RJ45s at both ends, in 1m, 3m and 20m lengths. Use it for the data runs in a touring or venue system, such as console to stage box, switch to amp rack, and Ethernet-based digital audio and video links.

Tourcat is a stranded patch cable with the feel and flexibility of Van Damme microphone cable. The etherCON carrier houses a conventional RJ45 plug in a diecast shell that locks into etherCON sockets.

Van Damme rates Tourcat for Gigabit and 100Mbit to a recommended channel length of 53m, tested with a Fluke DTX1800 cable verifier; longer runs are possible but not guaranteed. VDC gives 75m as the maximum recommended length for 100Mbit.
