Elixir Nanoweb 16077 phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings are a coated 12-56 light/medium set: the same .012, .016 and .024 as a 12-53 light set, with heavier .035, .045 and .056 strings below. Elixir's ultra-thin Nanoweb coating protects the strings for longer while keeping a natural phosphor bronze feel, which suits guitars that have to go a while between string changes on tour or across a run of sessions.

The coating covers the outer surface of each wound string and the gaps between the windings, protecting against corrosion, rust, sweat and humidity, and the plain steels are anti-rust plated. Elixir notes a smooth feel with reduced finger squeak, and the box describes the tone as rich and full. The gauges work for both strumming and fingerpicking.
