The Ultimate Ears UE 250 is the dual-driver model in UE's Universal In-Ear Monitors range, sitting between the single-driver UE 150 and the three-driver UE 350. Ultimate Ears voices it for enhanced low end: separate high and low Knowles balanced armatures behind a two-way crossover give a tighter bass response, with more sensitivity and detail at the top of the frequency range. UE recommends it for drummers, bassists and any musician who wants more low end in their mix.

Being universal-fit, the UE 250 needs no ear impressions. The fit comes from UE's PerForm Fit shell, designed for comfort and a tight seal, together with the silicone and foam tips in the box. The IPX cable is detachable, so a damaged lead can be replaced without replacing the earpieces, and a raised red dot on the right earpiece lets you find the correct side by touch or in low light.
