The Pulse stereo jack to 2 x mono jack sockets lead is a splitter with a 1/4" stereo jack plug at one end and two 1/4" mono jack sockets at the other. It is sold as an SPDS trigger cable, for splitting one stereo trigger input on a Roland sampling pad into two mono inputs, and it suits other stereo to dual-mono jack jobs too.

Roland's SPD-SX support guidance says a trigger input can be split with an insert-style cable (stereo at one end, two mono at the other) and the input set to "TRIG x 2". Plug the stereo end into the trigger input and connect your existing mono pad or trigger leads to the two sockets. The red and black sockets make it easy to tell which leg is which when setting up the kit. The SPD-SX PRO has the same TRIG x 2 setting.
