The LP Claw Gooseneck Microphone Clamp (LP591A), which LP calls the EZ-Mount Mic Claw, clamps a microphone straight onto a drum rim. It gives you close mic placement on congas, bongos, timbales, snares and toms without another boom stand crowding the riser.

The spring-loaded jaw grips the rim, and the flexible gooseneck holds a standard 5/8in mic clip, so you can fit the clip that came with the mic and bend the capsule into position. LP builds the body from its own plastic blend and designs the mount for solid placement and vibration isolation. The clamp is compact, so it stays out of the player's way, and it also grips amplifiers when you need a mic position without a stand.
