The Evans EQPC1 is a clear plastic bass drum EQ patch for single-pedal kicks, supplied two to a pack. Stuck to the batter where the beater lands, it strengthens the head and protects it from pedal fatigue, and in Evans' words it increases attack without affecting sustain or low end.

The beater spot is where a kick batter takes the most punishment over a run of shows or a busy rehearsal room. A patch there keeps the head going for longer between changes, and the clear, non-slip plastic doesn't change the look of the head. With two in the pack, there's a spare ready for the next re-head.
