The Bass Drum O's 5" ring is a two-part port reinforcement ring for a bass drum resonant head, available here in black (HBL5) or chrome (HC5). It gives the port a clean, finished edge, stops the head splitting and wearing around the hole, and makes a stable opening for positioning a kick drum mic, live or in the studio.

The ring comes as an outer male ring and an inner female ring with adhesive, fitted around a cut port, and an alcohol swab is supplied to clean the head first. If the head isn't ported yet, the Bass Drum O's Hole Cutter cuts the hole. Bass Drum O's makes rings in 2in, 4in, 5in and 6in sizes and eight colours; this listing covers 5in in black and chrome.
