The Bass Drum O's Bass Drum Hole Cutter (HSC) cuts clean, circular port holes in bass drum resonant heads for venting, porting and mic access. It gives a neater edge than scissors or a craft knife, and it is a practical tool for a backline or drum tech who needs to port a fresh head at a venue or before a session.

It works like a circular glass cutter: push the metal centre peg through the head, then rotate the bar so the blade cuts a circle around it. Retailers list it as adjustable from 2in to 10in, and the underside has a row of holes for setting the radius. Pair it with a Bass Drum O's port ring to reinforce the edge of the finished hole.
