The Gibraltar SC-BDHMM is a bass drum hoop mic mount: a rubber-lined clamp that fixes to the front hoop of the kick drum, with a gooseneck and a 5/8" thread to carry the kick mic. It puts the mic in front of or inside the resonant head without a short boom stand in front of the kit.

That frees floor space on a crowded riser, keeps the mic tied to the drum if the kit gets nudged during the set, and leaves one less stand to pack. The rubber guard on the clamp protects the hoop finish.
