The Neutrik NP2X is a straight 6.35mm (1/4-inch) mono jack plug for making up or re-terminating guitar and bass leads, patch cables, and connections to amplifiers and mixing desks. It is a 2-pole (TS) plug for mono, unbalanced leads.

The slim nickel-plated zinc diecast shell is 14.5mm wide, narrow enough for high-density jackfields, and the precision-machined one-piece tip contact has no rivets, designed so it can't hook up in a socket or break off at the tip. Neutrik's chuck-type strain relief clamps cable from 4mm to 7mm outside diameter, and the solder contacts take wire up to 1mm² (18 AWG). Worth keeping a few in the repair kit for re-terminating damaged leads.
