For a 15" floor tom or large rack tom, the Evans UV2 15" drum head (B15UV2) combines two plies of 7mil film with Evans' patented UV-cured coating. Evans rates UV2 to withstand the physical abuse of even the heaviest hitters, with superior impact resistance and no premature chipping or flaking.

The sound profile Evans gives is a prominent attack, shorter sustain and medium brightness, with highly enhanced durability; rock and metal are the listed styles. On a 15" tom that means a deep, controlled note, and a head that suits a kit that gets hit hard night after night.

The Level 360 collar extends the level playing surface right round the drum and seats evenly on the bearing edge, which Evans says makes tuning easier and extends the pitch range.
