The Evans UV2 10" drum head (B10UV2) is a coated, two-ply tom batter for 10" rack toms. Two plies of 7mil film sit under Evans' patented UV-cured coating, a combination Evans says gives superior impact resistance and was tested extensively with some of the heaviest hitters.

Evans' ratings for UV2 are a prominent attack, shorter sustain, medium brightness and highly enhanced durability, with rock and metal as ideal styles. On a 10" rack tom that gives a punchy note that doesn't ring on, and a coating Evans says won't chip or flake prematurely, which matters when a set of heads has to last a tour.

Level 360 Technology keeps the playing surface level 360 degrees around the drum and gives even contact with the bearing edge, for easier tuning and an extended pitch range.
