The Evans G2 Clear 10" drum head (TT10G2) is a two-ply clear tom batter for 10" rack toms, made from two plies of 7mil film, 14mil in total. Evans describes a warm, clear attack, wide-open response and a fat low end, and lists rock, pop and gospel as ideal styles.

The second ply changes the character compared with the single-ply G1: Evans rates G2 as balanced in attack, with average rather than long sustain, a slightly bright tone and moderate durability. On a 10" rack tom that means a fuller note that doesn't ring on as long, which suits close-miked toms on a live stage.

Level 360 Technology extends the level playing surface around the collar so the head seats evenly on the bearing edge, for easier tuning and an extended pitch range.
