Description

The D'Addario Screeching Halt (PW-SH-01) is a feedback suppressor for electro-acoustic guitars: a tapered, soft rubber plug that sits in the soundhole so you can play at far greater volume without unwanted feedback or howling.

It needs no modification to the guitar and is quick to fit and remove, so it can go in for the loud part of a set and come out for a quiet one. Keep one in the backline spares for any acoustic that starts ringing through the wedges.
