The D'Addario Eclipse PW-CT-27 is the rechargeable version of the Eclipse clip-on headstock tuner. There are no batteries to swap: D'Addario rates it at up to 24 hours of tuning per charge, and it charges from a USB port with the included USB-C cable.

It is a chromatic tuner with a full-colour vertical display on an extra-bright LCD, and D'Addario lists it for guitar, bass and ukulele. The multi-swivel mount lets you clip it in front of or behind the headstock and angle the screen towards you, on right- or left-handed instruments. The colour shows where the note sits: red for sharp, blue for in tune and yellow for flat. Calibration is adjustable from 430 to 450Hz, and the tuner switches itself off after 10 minutes to save charge.
