D'Addario (12-52) XL Nickel EJ21 Electric Guitar Strings

At 12-52, EJ21 carries considerably more tension than D'Addario's most popular 10-46 gauge. D'Addario's charts put the wound G at 28.0lb, against 16.6lb for the plain .017 G in an EXL110, and no string in the set is below 21lb. When moving up from a lighter set, check neck relief, action, intonation and nut slots before the guitar goes out on a gig.

Like the rest of the XL range, EJ21 uses nickel-plated steel wrap wire on a hexagonal high-carbon steel core for a bright, versatile tone, and it is made at D'Addario's New York production facility. Each set comes in a recyclable, corrosion-resistant VCI bag with a Players Circle code.
