Product Features / Specifications

The Virustatic Shield is a reusable protective face covering in a snood style, covering the nose, mouth and neck. Virustatic describes it as featuring a patented fabric coating, developed with scientific input to help reduce exposure to airborne particles.

The fabric uses Virustatic Textile Technology and is made to stay breathable and comfortable: Virustatic calls it lightweight and practical for all-day wear. It is designed for commuters on public transport, travellers (especially air passengers) and people working in busy environments, which covers a lot of touring: flights, airports, tour buses and crowded venues. It was developed in the UK.

Care

  • Reusable and washable.
  • Virustatic's current guidance: wash at 30°C or below with a non-bio detergent.
  • Do not tumble dry or iron.
  • Follow the care instructions supplied with your Shield, as earlier versions carried different washing guidance.
