The sE Electronics V7 MC2 Black is the wireless version of sE's V7 supercardioid dynamic vocal mic, made for Sennheiser handheld transmitters in place of their existing capsule. It brings the V7's sound to a radio mic, finished in black over sE's red internal windscreen; there is also a grey version.

Inside is the same DMC7 dynamic capsule design, with an aluminium voice coil and a supercardioid pattern that sE designed to help isolate the voice from other instruments. sE's patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration for low handling noise, which matters when a singer is moving around with a handheld. The chassis is all-metal zinc alloy, and the bevelled spring-steel grille stops the mic rolling when it is put down. Gold-plated contacts connect it to the transmitter.
