This is the standard grey version of the sE Electronics V7 MC1: sE's V7 supercardioid dynamic vocal capsule, built to fit Shure wireless handheld transmitters. The silver-grey grille and red internal windscreen sit over a black lower body, and the finish sits naturally on most Shure handhelds; there is also a black version.

It uses sE's DMC7 dynamic capsule, designed to help isolate the voice from other instruments, with a patented integrated shockmount for low handling noise. The housing is all-metal zinc alloy, the bevelled spring-steel grille won't roll when the mic is put down, and gold-plated contacts connect it to the transmitter. A black internal windscreen is included if you want to swap out the red one.
