RTOM Moongel damper pads are the quick fix for a ringy snare, a tom that sustains too long or a cymbal with more wash than you want. The tub holds six self-adhesive gel pads that stick straight onto drum heads, cymbals and most other percussion instruments to control ring and resonance, with no tape and nothing permanent.

Placement is the control. Stick a pad on the head or cymbal and move it around until the overtone you don't want drops away; add another pad for more damping, or cut one down for a lighter touch. When the pads pick up dust and lose their grip, wash them with soap and water and they're ready to use again. The plastic tub keeps them clean in a stick bag or fly pack between gigs, so they're easy to carry as a spare for changeovers and studio sessions.
