Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads are single-ply clear heads built from one ply of 10-mil clear film. Remo describes the sound as open, bright and resonant with plenty of attack, with volume and clarity. Available here in 8", 12", 13", 14" and 16".

They work as tom batter heads for an open, ringing tom sound, and as resonant (bottom) heads on toms, which is where Ambassador Clear is most often fitted. Remo also rates them for bass drum batter and resonant use. Worth keeping a couple of spares in the backline kit so a split tom head at soundcheck is a two-minute swap rather than a drum out of the set.
