Pro-Gaff® black gaffer tape, 48mm x 22.8m, is Pro Tapes' matt cloth tape in the standard width for everyday production work: taping down cable runs, holding things in place temporarily, marking stages and labelling cases on film and TV sets, in theatres and at live events. The black finish is matt and non-reflective, so it stays out of the way around cameras, lighting rigs and stage equipment.

Pro-Gaff is made in the USA with a cotton cloth backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive, and contains no PVC. It tears by hand across the length and the width, unwinds smoothly, conforms to irregular surfaces and takes pens and markers. Le Mark describes the adhesive as residue-resistant: it's designed to minimise adhesive transfer when removed correctly from suitable surfaces, though results depend on the surface, the conditions and how long it's down. Test on a small area first and lift it as soon as it's no longer needed. It copes well with moisture for indoor and temporary outdoor work but isn't a permanent waterproof sealing tape.

Pro-Gaff® Black Gaffer Tape 48mm is very useful but I’m sure you don’t want a review of the product.
