The Pro-Elec PLB2149 is a 1m UK mains lead, commonly called a kettle lead, with a fused, moulded UK 13A plug at one end and an IEC C13 connector at the other. The lead is rated 6A.

It powers equipment with the matching three-pin IEC inlet: amplifiers and instrument amps, mixing consoles, PA systems, stage lighting, computers and audio interfaces. A spare is worth carrying for backline, FOH and the production office. Check that the equipment draws no more than 6A. Despite the nickname, this is not a lead for kettles.
