A small magnetic parts tray, 3.5 x 2.5 inches (about 89 x 64mm), with a magnet in its base that holds steel screws, nuts, bolts and washers while you work. Put it on the case lid, amp top or bench and the screws from a back panel or a rack unit stay together instead of rolling into the gaps in the stage.

It is small enough to live in a tool bag or workbox, so it comes out for every quick repair, pickup swap or panel removal during a changeover. If the tray gets knocked, the magnet keeps the steel parts in the dish. Only magnetic (ferrous) parts are held: brass, aluminium and most stainless fixings will sit in the tray but will not be gripped.
