The Gibraltar SC-4421D is a standard replacement hi-hat clutch for stands with a 7mm pull rod. It fits Gibraltar 5000, 6000 and 8000 Series hi-hat stands and most other moderately priced stands that use a 7mm rod.

A clutch is small, easy to lose at load-out, and the hats stop working the moment one goes missing or strips its thread, so it is worth keeping one in the drum spares box or fly pack. Gibraltar pitch it as a simple, durable clutch for everyday use in rehearsal rooms and at gigs, as a main clutch or a backup.
