Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2836 5-string bass strings are a 45-130 nickel wound set for five-string basses, gauged .045, .065, .080, .100 and .130. The tone is bright and balanced, and a set in the spares case covers a five-string on stage, in rehearsal or on a session.

Each wound string is nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hex-shaped steel core, made by Ernie Ball in the Coachella Valley, California. The set comes in Element Shield packaging, which protects the strings from humidity and corrosion until you open it. This is the standard-scale 5-string set; Ernie Ball makes separate short, medium and super long scale Slinky bass sets, so check the bass's scale length first.
