Ernie Ball Power Slinky 2220 electric guitar strings are an 11-48 nickel wound set, one step heavier than Regular Slinky 10-46, for guitarists who want more tension under the fingers and a fuller low end. It is the set to keep as backline spares for any guitar set up for 11s.

The wound strings are nickel-plated steel wrapped around a tin-plated, hex-shaped steel core, and the plain strings are specially tempered, tin-plated high-carbon steel. The 18 is a plain string (marked 18P on the pack). Ernie Ball seals each set in Element Shield packaging, an impermeable sealed film inside an airtight foil pack, and the strings are made in the USA.
