Dunlop Fretboard 65 Ultimate Lemon Oil (6554) is for cleaning and conditioning unfinished fingerboards such as rosewood and ebony. Dunlop says it removes grime and returns the fretboard to its original lustre, then leaves an invisible sealant that helps protect the wood against stains and moisture. This is the 118ml (4 fl oz) bottle.

A string change is the natural time to treat the board, when the strings are off and you can reach the whole fingerboard. Apply it with a clean, untreated cloth such as the Dunlop 5400 and follow the directions on the bottle. It sits well in a guitar tech's care kit next to a finish polish such as Dunlop Formula No. 65, which is for the body rather than the fingerboard.
