CineStill 800T 35mm – 36 exp

With the remjet backing removed, standard C-41 lab processing is safe, or you can process it at home in Cs41. The acetate base gives a slight halation effect, and C-41 processing gives a contrast curve suited to optical printing on RA-4 paper. When shooting in daylight, CineStill recommends an 85 filter and/or rating the film at ISO 400–500. ECN-2 or the CineStill Cs2 kit gives a lower-contrast negative that is not suited to darkroom printing.

Push processing

Shoot it at ISO 800 and push when the light drops, up to EI 3200. CineStill's recommended ranges:

• No push: EI 200–1000
• 1 stop push: EI 800–2000
• 2 stop push: EI 1250–3200
• 3 stop push: EI 1600–3200 (added contrast)

Storage and handling

• Keep unexposed rolls sealed in the fridge at 13°C (55°F) or lower, and shoot them within 6 months of purchase for best results.
• Allow chilled film to reach room temperature before opening the pack.
• Load in subdued light and get exposed film processed promptly.
