CineStill 800T 120

The remjet backing has been removed, so any standard C-41 lab can process it, or you can use Cs41 at home. The acetate base results in a slight halation effect, and in C-41 chemistry it produces a contrast curve suited to optical printing on RA-4 paper. It can still be processed in ECN-2 or with the CineStill Cs2 kit, which gives a lower-contrast negative that is not suitable for darkroom printing.

Push processing

Treat it as ISO 800 for C-41 and push when needed, up to EI 3200. CineStill's recommended exposure ranges:

• No push: EI 200–1000
• 1 stop push: EI 800–2000
• 2 stop push: EI 1250–3200
• 3 stop push: EI 1600–3200 (added contrast)

Storage and handling

• Store unexposed film sealed in the fridge at 13°C (55°F) or lower, and shoot it within 6 months of purchase for best results.
• Let refrigerated film warm to room temperature before opening the pack to avoid condensation.
• Load and unload in subdued light, and process promptly after exposure.
