6.3 x 32mm time-delay cartridge fuses, often called slow-blow, in current ratings from 500mA to 10A. If a piece of kit on the rig takes a 6.3 x 32mm time-delay fuse, a spare in the right rating saves a hunt for a shop mid-tour.

Always replace like for like. Check the size (6.3 x 32mm is larger than the common 5 x 20mm), the current rating and the type on the old fuse, by the fuse holder or in the manual; a fast-blow fuse is not a substitute for a time-delay one. A replacement that fails at switch-on points to a fault, so have the equipment checked.
