BSS AR133 Active DI Box – 9V PP3 Battery or Phantom Powered

It takes an instrument, line or amplifier-level signal on a 1/4-inch jack or an XLR socket and sends a transformer-balanced output on a male XLR to the desk or stage box. The 0, -20 and -40dB input pad covers guitar and bass pickups, line-level keyboards and DJ consoles, and amplifier speaker outputs. The second input jack is wired in parallel, so you can take a feed on to the player's own amp. A ground-lift switch on the output side gives a quick fix for ground-loop problems.

BSS uses an enhanced version of the AR-116's audio path. The case is an aluminium extrusion with polyurethane end cheeks, and its arched shape lets cables run back underneath the unit from the end for neat cable management. It can also be used as an active balancing device for unbalanced sources.
