The Evans G1 Clear 10" drum head (TT10G1) is a single-ply, 10mil clear head for 10" rack toms. Evans sells the same part as a tom batter and as a tom resonant head, which makes it an easy spare to keep in the fly pack: one head covers either side of a 10" tom.

G1 is Evans' open, expressive single ply. Evans rates it as very balanced in attack, with long sustain, a bright tone and average durability, and it tunes across a wide range. Tuned low, in Evans' words, it produces a cavernous rumble that emphasises the natural sound of the shell. Pop, gospel and jazz are its listed styles; for a two-ply alternative in the same size, see the Evans G2 Clear 10".

Level 360 Technology extends the level playing surface around the collar so the head sits evenly on the bearing edge, for easier tuning and an extended pitch range.
