The Pro-Signal male XLR to phono adaptor converts a male XLR to phono (RCA). As pictured, it has a latching female XLR socket at one end, which takes a male XLR connector, and an RCA phono socket at the other.

Push it straight onto a male XLR output, such as a mixer's main, aux or matrix out, or onto the male end of an XLR lead, then run a phono lead from its socket to an RCA input on a recorder, Hi-Fi amplifier or streaming interface. It changes the connector only and does not alter the signal level, so bring the output level down before you connect to a consumer RCA input.
